| 5 new signings announced today. Their squad for next season is a vast improvement on this seasons squad. I can see them going unbeaten next season.

| Needs to be a good squad to compete with ours
I'm sure Bradford will be favourites to win most games but RL is next season back to being each match important for every club and you never know what could happen........... after all who'd have predicted Bradford would be relegated if asked 5 years ago
Still got this season to complete (hopefully with a trophy) but must admit really looking forward to next year.
Get next years ST's on sale before the play offs end

I will take that wager - £10 to the Hospice from whoever loses??
They are asking their fans to pay for it with season tickets at £230 to stand and £280 to sit in that hovel of a ground

No better place to watch rugby in the world than Odsal.......
Seriously, the Bulls really are putting together a strong squad and more importantly strong business plan for next year. The new regime have brought excitement back to Odsal and while no fan wants to get relegated I believe that every Bulls fan is looking forward to next season. Personally very confident that the team will do well but going unbeaten is a tough call with some very good teams in Leigh, London, Fev and Fax. Every team will be up for it when playing the Bulls next year......
As far as the fans paying for the team, you are exactly right but the new owners have been very clear from day 1 that they are going to run the club as a business and at least try to break even - this is critical after the debacle of the past few years. The owners have given fans a full time SL level team at a ground where most fans {Bulls fans that is.... } want to be and need the fans to support this return with a fair season ticket price.
Good luck to Leigh next year and lets hope the top 4 in the Championship can really make it tough for the bottom 4 SL teams.........

| That season ticket price is nearly 50% more than I paid for my Leigh season ticket. Theres few enough away fans as it is in this division. There'll be even fewer who can afford to go to see their team at Bradford. Shocking price.

| To be fair to Bradford they were accused of selling Season Tickets to cheap previously which was then a contributory factor to their financial crisis.
Whilst I agree that it appears a little expensive , in terms of numbers 3,500 season ticket holders @ £280, is no different to 7,000 season ticket holders @ £140 in terms of revenue.
Bradford would still have a big support in the championship but I am not overly concerned about them if I am totally hionest.
The real issue for us is how do we keep the momentum going at Leigh and how do we devise a strategy to ultimately fill our own ground with bums on seats ?

Great post - the reality is income pays wages and as Harold says 3500 can generate as much as 7000, so is it easier to get the hardcore to pay more or will sufficient numbers back a low priced alternative?
Think we will have a great comp next season

| Bradford will be much better next season, they've got the time to build the squad and their money worries seem to be sorted now. Don't think anyone will go unbeaten next season though. We'll be much better from going full time as well, the 2nd place money will help Fev who'll be better without a mad owner throwing a mad strop ever other week before walking out. London will also be better than this year with a proper pre-season and time to sign players, also being full time will mean they'll be up there. It's going to be very tight at the top next season.

| It is a little to early for predictions granted given that player recruitment is far from complete, but I would not be surprised if the 2015 season was to end.
1) Bradford
2) Leigh (Not far behind)
3) London
4) Featherstone Rovers.
5) Halifax
I would hazard a guess that I will not be to far from the mark.

| Well I'll be paying it. It's one game that you will have to do it. I really don't think that £20 is a lot to watch the quality of RL that I have witnessed this season. Having said that it would have a dramatic effect on our crowds if that was the price at Leigh.

| They charged £20 this season and would fully expect them to at least be slightly reduced next year. Not that much more than a lot of clubs in these league anyroad, including ourselves.

| Have we announced admission prices next year ? I would reserve judgement until then. I would imagine we wont be far behind if I am honest.
Afterall we fans all wanted a full time squad this year to give us the best possible shot at it. It therefore needs to be paid for. It does not come cheap even with some prize money thrown in.
The question is are all of our fans prepared to share the burden with the board of assembling an ultra competitive squad?
From the lines of this thread I conclude some are not.

What you're not taking into account is all the (significant) ancillary benefits of having a bigger fan base - more programmes, more lottery, more LCTV, more merchandise not to mention a stronger base to attract sponsorship.
If I had to choose between 3500 @ 280 versus 7,000 @ 140 I cannot see a good reason for the former. The only possible reason would be to maintain your branding status as a premium attraction. However, I am not sure that concept particularly applies in RL!

| I would agree with you, double your fans and maintain revenue. The more people in and watching your Rugby League club is crucial.
However if you only attract 6000 fans @ 140 then what then ? Secondary spend does not really cut it when you are already 15k+ down before a ball is kicked. Season will be almost over before you recoup it in hot dogs.
Just goes to show you need to be absolutely bang on when determining your price point.
