Agreed though best 9 in the league, has his bad moments but can change a match and 9 times out of 10 its in our favour. Will be sad to see him go as he has been my favorite player at fax for some years now but cant blame him for finishing his career at his home time club and wish him all the best. By the sounds of it his replacement will be more than adequate to say the least so it might not be such a bitter pill to swallow.

Pretty sure Anthony Nicholson has got another 12 months with us.

Seriously though, with Duffy retiring we definitely need him.

If he stays at Fax I agree, if he moves well we didn't want him anyway.

He's a game changer. I've lost count of how many times he (single handedly) has turned a certain defeat into victory. I'm so glad we've had all those years from him. It will be fitting for him to finish his career at Leigh and he will be as big an asset in his final two or three years as he has been in his last 12.

No Micky never did that "toLeigh" the year Penky came back from a ban he trained with us for ages and "signed" only to change his mind

Apparently its confirmed in our local rag today that penky is joining you lot. It's not on the website yet but it's in the hard copy.

I think we all know the clubs are just delaying the inevitable til after the play offs so it doesn't disrupt the squads in the final few games.

Wouldn't have thought he would be allowed to, until your season finishes, which could be after the G/F.

Re the "rumour" I refuse to answer on the grounds it might incriminate me.

Done and dusted for a while now by all accounts. Fax didnt offer him a contract until the last minute/if at all. He will do very well for Leigh but I think KH wants a bit more structure which his replacement will certainly bring.
