Wigan losing last night will result in reduced attendances for the last games of those who were in the relegation chase as these are "nothing" matches . Together with the fact that there is no last game chase for the title means a pointless series of matches. It would be interesting to see this years last game attendances compared to last year.
If ever there was an argument for P and R in rugby league to improve attendances this is it.
