I know it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that the top 4 is gone, and has been for months. But, if we were to make the top 4, what would it take?

I know some of you guys are really good at working out all the possible scenarios.

Win all five games and we will be top four.
Castleford play Catalan away next week and still have to play Huddersfield, Leeds, Wigan and Saints. They may not win another game.
Huddersfield play us (obviously a defeat for them if we win all five), Leeds, Saints and Castleford. Could easily drop four more points from those three games.
Problem is us winning five games, more likely for me to watch the Grand Final from a Bermudan beach enjoying my (as yet to be won) lottery winnings.

The only way we can make the top 4 is to have all of our points deducted for a massive salary cap breach, be demoted to the Middle 8s and then somehow scrape enough wins together to beat Sheffield, Fax et al.

Huddersfield are hardly 'silverware laden' like you say, but they are just about a Bigger Club than Warrington.

We've got loads of silverware, most of it won before most Warrington fans knew they had a RL team though

Huddersfield fans are just bitter that, despite being a capable and competitive team for the last few years, they have consistently choked against Wire. Most notably in the 2013 semi and the CC final.

These jokers came for the gloating when they finally beat Wire this season, but they stayed because of all the hurted feelings :'(.

I don't know the answer to the original question, but suspect time travel may be involved.

As frustrating as it may be, I think it might be time to look to next season.
