| instead of having 8 teams would it not be better to have the top 4 play off..for e.g...1 v 4..2 v 3...over 2 legs..then the winners play at old trafford for the trophy..after what ive seen this weekend and the attendances..its not very good

Yes, that would be thee easy solution but you know what the RFL are like always changing things. I know what you mean though, two legs home and away, would be a good idea.

| That's a good shout, the RFL have tried to make it fair after extending the numbers but it's been very poor tonight. Stick to the top 6, that way you what you pretty much need to do to get to the Grand Final. I think it will come down to Leeds v Giants, Saints v the pies eaters. Isn't the NRL 8 teams tho? How does theirs work??

I think Leeds will pick Wigan over Hudds. Hudds are much a bigger threat.

Yes i totally agree. I mean say next year it finishes
1. St Helens
2. Leeds
3. Wigan
4. Wire
Have st helens v wire (2 legs home and away)
leeds v wigan (2 legs home and away)

| stop protecting the top teams were if they get beat they get another bite of the cherry
simply do this
Home and Away legs add the aggregate scores
a) 1v8
b) 2v7
c) 3v6
d) 4v5
then 2 legs again
a) v d)
b) v c)
one game in the final
5 games in all, the extra revenue will be good for the clubs with at least 2 extra games guaranteed

| I like the play off model. I think it encourages consistency throughout the regular season, as the top two, even the top four, have an increased chance of getting to the final, whilst also allowing for the sides 6-8 to get there, providing they put in a monumental effort over four weeks of intense footy. Essentially, you have to be really, really good (at least somewhat) consistantly to win the thing, which is only fair and just IMO.
Moreover, we keep saying how the NRL is more intense than our game and our lads aren't up to the standard when it comes to pressure cooker international matches against the Ockers, well here's our chance to see how Shenton, Westerman, Tomkins, et al fare on the big stage.

| Dissapointing attendances,go back to the relatively straight forward top 6 concept.

I'd love Leeds to pick Saints.
