| If Gleeson goes to Wigan will he achieve this terrace status?
Will it be a big booooooooooooooooooooooo when he wears the famous cherry and white jersey and plays against us?
Will he get the old "judas, judas" that Harris did, and the chant of "if you all hate Gleeson clap your hands". Or hopefully at some time "Gleeson, Gleeson whats the score?"
Will our parting forum comments reveal sudden inside knowledge of all of his evil social activities and bad influence on the squad, and warn the Wigan fans that he's a selfish player who never passes to his winger (as we were warned by the Saints fans)?
Will he be hated for being sold by the club in a decision endorsed by the coach and board, just like he was at Saints, or will he be loved like Toa was after he let his contract run out and jumped ship for free, earning the chant "we want Toa back say we want Toa back" when he played against us?
Will he be remembered as someone who looked like he was in a sulk from his first press conference when he was unveiled as a Warrington signing, and often gave the impression of being disinterested? Or someone who was actually rather good for us, the best British centre we had since Allan Bateman, and someone who helped put us on the map as a club to be taken seriously....?

| I hope not. I for one am eternally grateful to have had the privellage of watching him produce - IMO - some of the best rugby Super League has seen, for (this) club and country.
I'd gladly applaud him upon his return, he hasn't left under any obvious dark cloud, nor has he dragged the club through the mud in the press, so I can't see any reason - other than the club he's leaving for - for anyone to have a pop at the lad.

| Don't see why he will be slated, he appears to be being sacrificed. I still find a strange choice of destination.

| It's all a bit of lunacy.
Smith comes in, says we need a fullback as our first choice is...unavailable. So we then exchange our best backline player for a reserve grader from a local rival. Hmm.
