What are the rules governing clubs entering into contractual talks with players of other clubs during the season?

Rumours are all subject to hearsay, whether true or false but now we all know the official story.
I applaud the club for making that step, something under the last CEO we know would not happen.

To be honest I thought those rumours were coming much too quickly after the game in which Micky looked very happy in to look founded.

The cut off has moved a few times over the last ten years, early season, late season and it may be somewhere near the middle now.

However i'm pretty sure Warrington have been pretty good in terms of players coming off contract being able to negotiate for future years, especially if we're not going to be keeping them on, its fair i think.

Anyway, the claims that Leigh had made an approach were correct and so were probably based on some actual evidence, even if no one on here could present any. However, the claims that Mickey was actually leaving the club now, asked to be released, told to leave by TS, etc, turned out to be false and obviously not based on any evidence - just made up.

Oh, and the size of a hole, twice as big as half a hole.
