Austin is an excellent replacement for Roberts and another player Leeds were heavily linked with just like Greenwood who went to Wigan.
One of the better halfbacks imo to come out of the NRL who i wish was coming to Leeds.

Very wary of highlights now, after getting excited about what Roberts could and should have been doing every week...
However, from those clips it looks like Austin would be a replacement for Brown - he’s got the step and the support play but there’s no clips showing his ability to create much for others. To be fair to Roberts, he does have a good all-round game even if we don’t see much of him attacking the line. His kicking and vision are superb.
I still think we need another classic half back even if we sign Austin. |

He has very good contacts does Tony (The Mole). Knows a lot of NRL players personally and coaches.
He's hit & miss on SL stories but NRL players I would back his accuracy anyday. |

I doubt that Warrington Guardian had got it from here. After quite a few "Nailed On" signings they have lost confidence in this site. Besides "The Mole" announced it 8 hours ago.

Sounds like Austin has been out of form for a couple of years....a big change might be the thing he needs. I take hi-light reels with a big pinch of salt, but his 2015 reel looks very good. Benji Marshall is out of contract soon as well.
