For me, immediate yellow card as a minimum - I can't remember seeing a wire player do something so utterly stupid for a long time.

I'd definitely agree it should have been a yellow card. A red card is more debateable but I've got to be honest and say I wouldn't have argued if he'd been shown a red for it.
