I don't think that Williams, or Cross, played as bad as the scores may suggest. Their opponents just threw consistently phenomenal darts

He played the best today and he wasn’t quite good enough, but he is a credit to the sport.

Humphries was pretty close to unplayable in those last 4 sets whilst Littler just wasn't quite at his best and those small margins count.

LL has done everyone proud though in both the way he's performed and in the way he's carried himself. Really looking forward to seeing him play next time.
