Do the two finalists even get the gate money? It seems strange if they do, and I don't believe they do. They get prize money, not sure how much it is for runners-up, but there is no way they should gt the split of the gates. It is an RFL staged event, and like the play-offs the RFL should get the money and pay the prize money.

If you've got him for £50k then it's a decent bit of business, a 4 year deal may come back to haunt you though as he has had injury issues the last two seasons.

4 year contract (if true) is a big risk by your club, don't you have enough injured people as it is? i would be surprised if carvs averages 15 games a season for the rest of his career.

Knees, Shoulder. Did his knee ligaments against wolves first game.iir. Good if you can keep him on.

You've got a top deal if true. 50k to your lot is nothing whereas we cant do much with it. Without doubt, in the top 3 props in SL and at 28, my opinion is he's just hitting his peak. I'm gutted as a Hull fan, would have loved Briers to come the other way.
