Cooper has been our best player by far this season. We are in big trouble without him.

If we can avoid it I’d rather Philbin didn’t start, he is better as an impact player.

I'd missed that. Big blow as he has been by far our best forward this year.

Presumably an injury as there is no need to rest him. Hopefully he'll be back if we progress.

Anybody heard any news about why Cooper isn't included? I echo comments I've seen on this thread already; he's been our best forward. It would be very strange to rest him so I'm assuming he's injured.

Cooper is a big miss. I'd expect BMM on the bench to cover prop. Hughes and Jason Clark both likely to play IMO.

I will only worry about the final if/ when we get there. I've got a bad feeling about tomorrow night, big questions about how fit mamo and charnley will be. No lineham, no cooper. A very good chance that we will have Hughes and j Clark just taking tackles and getting slow play the balls. I think a lack of size will hamper our ability to gain yardage especially if it's wet, I just hope it stays dryish I don't want it turning in to an arm wrestle.

Still we do have Daz Clark, ratchford, Austin, King, Ashton, currie and widdop who are all very capable of special moments. My head tells me we should win but I just can't convince myself about it.

Well they are neutral but if FC pull it off, and another, they get the final at Hull.

Whilst that might seem an advantage, we have only played one game at home since the season restarted, only Wigan (0) out of the top 6 have played less at home.

I don't think it's much of an advantage playing at home, as we are worst at the KC than away and there will be no fans. Not that it will happen anyway, I don't see us winnign tonight and if we do, Wigan will be too strong for us.

That was at Headingley though so still unbeaten at the HJ this season; hopefully that continues tonight!!!

Obviously, we all hope we win and move on, but there also the possibility of a recall should we lose.

I will be concerned if Charnley is picked & we don't have a winger on the bench. Most seem to want 4 forwards as subs. but I have seen so many games where the whole shape of a side changes when a winger gets injured.

Hope all lumped on.Softens the blow at least.
