I agree we don't deserve to win the GF, but nether did Leeds in 2011.

If all things were right then Saints would have already been crowned Champions, because unfortunately this season they have been clearly the best as we were in 2011.

The weird thing is, despite those 3 glaring problems we are still not THAT far behind the top two teams. It shows how poor the quality is across the league at the moment. If Saints and Wigan are ever so slightly off their game and the weather evens out the contest we could very well sneak both games.

The hardest game any 2 teams has played this season was the 1/4 final between us and Pies...both teams felt it a week or 2 after.

Imo there hasn't been a game all season with that intensity....that is how good Wire and Wigan are when they have to be.....Saints and Cas can't compete to that level.

Anyways...it was that game that ultimately lost you the CC semi final you all cheered for.

As for our best...that wasn't even close...we never got out of second gear and could have won the game 6 times in the last ten minutes.... hence the Saints Long DG celebrations.

Could you win the semi? Yes. Will you win it? It’s highly unlikely. Could you win the semi and the GF? Definitely not.

You’re by a long distance the worst side in the top 4, the fact that you’ve finished behind Cas with the injuries they’ve had says a lot. The problem you have (or at least the main one) is your attack is nowhere near good enough against any of the top sides. Two clueless halves and a fullback who doesn’t turn up against the good sides means you’re unlikely to trouble us enough. Barba plays like he has the past couple of weeks then we win comfortably. Once you’ve stopped filling your squad with the likes of Thompson, Pomeroy, Livett, Patton, Brown, Roberts and Akauola then you’ll have a chance of winning at OT. The only players that get near our squad are Charnley (even Grace outplayed him the other week), Clark and Cooper. I’d say Hill as well if he wasn’t such a liability. That says a lot.

And the difference between the CC semi and this one is that in the games before the CC we’d played very poorly and were scraping wins. This time we’ve played ourselves into good form and Barba is back to his best.

We've been through all this before. Saints are favourites on Thursday. But your season of winning the hub cap and winning the previous meetings in 2018 against the Wire will count for nought if you get turned over.

You’ve got to be joking? As a Wigan fan that was the worst performance from Wigan I have seen since the 75-0 defeat to Saints. If that’s the best you can find your gonna be in for a very long night on Thursday

I have very little doubt that we will be well beaten on Thursday night, but the arrogance of some posters from other clubs is incredible.

After last season, I'm happy to be the worst team in the top 4 by a long way, and to have no chance of winning on Thursday, let alone winning a Grand Final......

Saints were flat out against us 2 weeks before the semis....we never got out of 2nd gear and bombed 6/7 chances without any pressure off Saints to win that game. They then we're flat out against Wigan who won like we should have done the week previous....those 2 games before Catalans beat Saints for them...Catalans were up against a team that were burnt out.

Wire only need to be smart to win that game....it's the first time we've had all our forwards available together since the hardest game all season....the 1/4 final vs Wigan.

I won't be surprised to see Wire beat Saints by 10 or more....The big game is yet to come. I'm only glad it's Cas that Wigan play...they'll really give them a game and a half.

It was a poor performance by Wigan because Wire did not allow you to play.

I'm happy as long as we keep the scoreboard respectful. After last season to be in a CC Final and a GF Semi is unbelievable.

I'll take a loss if its within 6pts. If we go into the final 10 6pts or less behind then who knows. We need to wake up though. We've been way off the past 3 weeks, too much shirt grabbing instead of getting a shoulder in. No composure and throwing the ball out our @r$e instead of taking a tackle. We need at least one half to start getting a grip of the game, shouting at the rest of the team and telling them exactly what they want them to do. at the minute its just ball to first reciever and run, thats not going to get you anywhere.

Oh... and drop Atkins, he loses his head in big games.
