If Paul Cullen was that good then why couldn't he get these teams of his to win anything or at least break into the top four on a regular basis?

Cullen had the financial backing, he had the players and perhaps a better pool of players to choose from when it came to signings, so why couldn't he deliver any type of moderate success?

Many fans want Smith out, fair enough, but why do we constantly need to devalue what he and our club has achieved during his tenure? He took us to a level that Cullen couldn't, he may not take us to a Grand Final victory, his time may be up, but bloody hell the bloke deserves more respect than some are giving him.

Funny how things work out, remember feeling that Tony Smith totally out-thought Noble that day, and it was Wigan who had the problem of a coach who couldn't take us to where we needed to be. Come to think of it, it was probably that game which sealed his fate and lead to us going after Maguire.
