I saw a few Wigan, Leeds and Saints fans at Lime Street station half an hour ago.

Wigan were great in the half hour and then slipped away. They scored off a forward pass and a from a scrum that wasn't even their ball. Were better than Leeds, We had a great result beating Catalans in the heat without a few key players. We've had a week off, were fresh, we've had extra time to focus on the game this week, they only have a week if that, they'll be celebrating for half the week.

Bring them on, I hope we wipe the floor and I wouldn't be surprised if we do.

Meh, had a Saints supporting friend telling me how it didn't bode well for the future. I just made the point that we've beaten two better quality sides to get there, and if we are good enough that we can choke and still win at Wembley, then so be it.

I think in fairness Wigan were just about the better side today, though their right hand side defence weakness was exposed again and it almost found Leeds a way to win the game.

As for the dodgy decisions, well, I guess you've just got to hope that in the whole 'evening themselves out' that you hear of, they'll cop their rough calls in the playoffs, hopefully when playing us in a game of high stakes, not that will be any good to Leeds, but soz.

Some great stuff on the Wigan board, according to them the only reason Leeds came back in the second half was that they were doing as 'Madge' wanted and keeping juice in the tank for the game next Sunday.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if we lost next week. I remember beating Hull fC at their place in 2005 and then getting well beaten the following week in the play offs. If we lost next week we would beat them the next time we played them and that might be the more important game.

I think that one was benefit of the doubt, it did look like he'd lost control with the one hand but his other hand was also on the ball. You couldn't really tell either way.

Did no-one think that the Ablett (?) might not have been grounded, looked to me like Charnley might have got his arm under the ball. They kept showing angles but I couldn't actually see one where the ball was touching the ground.

I agree with the Tommy L one, I think you'd want it for your own team though. I think your totally wrong about Ablett's, nailed on TRY. Wigan's right side defence is quite dodgy to be fair, a great attacking side of the field though.
