Well even if there was a grain of truth in this , and if the rumour is true that we have already paid for him, i wouldnt put it past Koucash to try to offer Warrington more money to get him.

Clark signed for you a couple if years ago, when Cas needed the cash, it was agreed at the time he would remain at Cas until the end if this season.

As I understand it now he himself has asked about the possibility of going back on the deal if Cas can repay the cash as he is a local lad who wants to stay with Cas now they have improved as a club.

Don't think it is washing with Wire though and he will be lining up for you as planned in 2015.

If these rumours are true then its not right that Cas can buy him back, or any other Tom, Dick, or Marwan can up the bid. They've had the money and the services of the player, we've not gone all 'Salford' announcing this that and the other to unsettle anyone so the deal if it's been done should stand.

We can look at this another way, what if Cas had a mediocre season would he still want to stay then. All well and good this happening now as they are having a great season, for me if its a done deal he as to honour the agreement, then again in this day an age we know contracts are not worth the paper they are printed on.

Prior to Powell everyone wanted out of Cas, now he is here they want to stay.

Jordan Thompson attempted to back out if his Hull deal that he signed prior to Powell arriving.

There isn't big money involved at this age group, he will be getting more than the local lads to compensate for the fact he has to come across from Yorkshire four times a week. A big draw at Warrington next year is the strength of the curremt 19s which is being added to by some quality players from this years 16s plus the chance to learn from Lee Briers who is taking a bigger role.
