There shouldn't be more than 13k there anyhow. The lowest Wire att in the CC was 7k this year and Leeds' was 5. It disgusts me.

Doing lots of other things. To be fair, all clubs gain extra supporters when they reach big finals. I accept it's been a few years since Wigan were in that position but I'm sure that if/when you get to one again, you'll know what I mean.

Yes most big games attract bigger crowds. Why though do you attach these fans to yourselves when it means a good turn out and looks good but then as soon as there is trouble they arent Wire fans and shouldnt be labbled as such!!
Anyway surely you should be able to get over 10 thousand of these 30 odd thousand to turn up each week at home!! After all they are Wire fans!!

I was yes, less than 24 hours after my daughters wedding, and I was at the nines last night.
We're there 30,000 Wire fans at Widnes for the semi this year or last?

The point being, you couldn't sell your allocation for the semi last year feel the need to question our fans?

Whether they be full time supporters part time supporters once a year supporters or once in a lifetime supporters I personally don't care.

Its great that the public of the town are getting behind their own town team and supporting them on what is a special day for Warringtonians!!

A turnout of this volume from a town the size of ours is exceptional and I'm proud of every one of em!!

There still shouldn't be more than the 7k that were at the Fev game. Those that didn't attend shouldn't be entitled to a ticket. Same goes for Leeds in regards their Blackpool game.

I don't have a problem with it, good luck to all who go down, enjoy the weekend / day and remember you are representing your town / city (both clubs) and Rugby League in general. It would be the same if Wigan were going.

The problem I had with the original post was the bragging we're taking more fans than you mentality when Leeds have been far better supported for the rest of the season.

Enjoy the game, and I really don't care who wins, I just hope it's a great match we're discussing after it has been played.

I would rather have 24,000 'band wagon jumpers' than our average away support any day. It would look silly if there was only 9,000 there and a lot of empty seats, instead we are going to have our end kitted out in primrose and blue.

And if just 4,000 of your 24,000 decide to come back next season, that can only be a good thing.
