I wouldn't worry about that. There is no panic to but in advance; all the cheap tickets have gone and I would expect healthy sales the remainder of this week plus a healthy walk-up on the night.

It will be busy in the Warrington end and a good win tomorrow may even see it nearly full. I would imagine between 4,000 and 5,000 Warrington there on the night.

Looking forward to a great double-headed with the u20's doing battle the following day. Are Wigan playing their imports in the u20 game?

Feka, Pryce and Phelps played today in the U20 game, but Phelps sadly left the field after five minutes in tears after what looks like an injury that will mean he has probably played his last game for Wigan. It was his first game back after injury, I'm not sure if it's a re-occurrence or a new injury.

Wigan won 34 - 16 by the way in a very scrappy game.

Shame that (the injury not the win). I wouldn't be suprised if all three of them have played their last games for Wigan's first team.

No I didn't it was just confirmed to me at the Wigan v Salford game last night. My reply was not too worry as many of the Wire fans would probably buy their tickets tomorrow at the Cas game or in the week. I'm expecting at least 4,000 of you to turn up.

tis true, i have it on good authority, however what you forget is the majority of wire fans will pay on the day or buy tickets at the cas match later today!

May not be 6,ooo as a lot of our fans have got to get tickets for challenge cup semi final...



Oh sorry...When you are in with a shout of doing the double you have to choose your games wisely.

The main reason for ticket sales being slow is mainly due to forking out for the semi final, catalans the week after Wigan, possibly a Challeneg Cup Final weekend to pay for.

I'd expect alot of tickets to go today at least 1k.

Then a few will go next week; 1k. So roughly you have 4k, which is a good number IMO.

thats because in wendyball the away end at the DW is always 3/4 - full thus that only puts around 13-14k tics as home fans and a lot of them are not true tics there're mancs or scousers that cant afford or get st's for their own club and use the tics as way of seeing their own club once or twice a season.

True, and its not 18500. They get masses of away support and they lie about crowds constantly anyway. Add that to the fact that they are still over achieving and that is why the crowds are at least decent.

We get much more home support though and far better away support.

On the Wigan website, as of Friday, 18,000 have sold. going to be a top atmosphere, Cant wait!

Less than 1,700 left at Wigan now. That means Wigan have sold over 17,000 tickets.

That'll be a record then wont it (17,000 doing the wigan walk i mean)

That's a great effort especially if you can finish those last 1,700 to boast the sold out signs around the ground just hope our ticket sales speed up and we take 5k hopefully, what was the attendance of the big one last year
