Currie is the best prospect I've seen since Mark Roberts...How is he to gain experience if he never plays in the first team?

I suspect (barring injuries) it will be the same team for Hull as well next week. I think he will just have to be patient until the Hull KR game. After all, he is getting regular matches each week in the U19 team. GOB, Bridge and Laithwaite are scratching around to get any game time at the moment.

Iv heard there is no Briers on Friday...neck injury. Guess we will have to see.

Briers never played last season at home v Catalans either I seem to recall. Not sure if its true as would we have let O'Brien go on loan?

No detriment to Briers but last years' match was the best regular round game at HJ IMO

It was a good game but the ground was firm our pack were playing great and smashing all in front of them. This may be a little early in the season for the same quality game.

You never can tell, but, here's hoping and I'd take the same result now. One thing that is likely and that is that it will be a physical encounter....same as last year

If Briers isn't fit (and perhaps even if he is) I'd go with Grix at stand-off, Coops into the pack and bring Tyke onto the bench.

Gonna be a tough battle in the forwards.

Think Woody could get a run out in the pack with Cooper playing at Loose. Will need a big effort from the pack unless we play expansively out to the flanks. Looking forward to this one.

If Briers is out and Hodgson plays then surely Ratchford at 6? Why swap more than necessary I could see a case for Grix at 6 as Morrissey stated due to the likely physical nature of the game but would like him to get a decent settled run in a position injuries permitting

Thought most of the forwards had a good game tonight. It was a tough battle but interesting how penalties played a major factor in giving one team 'a leg up'. There were times when we struggled to get out of our own end zone only for Cats to give away a pen on the 5th or something like that.
We took our chances in the first half and it paid off.
