Gutted we lost but even more so finding the scum sneaky traffic wardens had slapped a £35 ticket on the car just behind the Irish Club on Sharp Street.Going have to go back to see if i was in the wrong as was convinced i'd parked in a safe area.

All the roads around the stadium are resident only on match day. Residents have to display a parking permit.

having the same problem at Wakey, a few Leeds fans got hit, so beware when you come to ours, sneaky wardens here waiting in bushes till you gone from car then sting you with a ticket

As for the sneaky accusation??....Well, what is sneaky about sticking a ticket on an illegally parked car?...If you mean that they haven't the bottle to do it when you are around, then I would suggest the clue is in the 'parked' bit?...You park the car illegally and bugger off, leaving the warden with little option but to book you...

they stood and watched someone park their car and let them walk away then ticket em, they could have just told them they couldn't park there, so its obvious they are there just to make money and not doing thier job and enforcing the law as you put it

Used to deliver machinery to different premises in one of my old Jobs which meant for safety's sake we had to park as close to the entrance as possible..
Sometimes this meant parking on double yellow lines...We'd never park in a dangerous manner or obsrtuct the highway...But this wasn't good enough for these little Hitlers...
I'd always look round for a traffic warden to let him or her know what we were doing and some were pretty decent about it when they could see what we were doing...

But some were just plain devious and SNEAKY....I have been booked by wardens who i had previously spoken to whilst i was inside the premises and while my guard was down...

So please don't bleat about breaking the law its a sad state of affairs when you can't do your job without these thieves trying to rear end you....

Working in the surface transport industry in London i must say i love traffic wardens. They keep the roads moving.
I'm glad you got a ticket if you were illegally parked, you are not above the law. Sneaky or not paying a couple of quid in a multi-storey car park seems worth while now would you not say ? this is a place designed for the parking of these things we call cars hence the word CAR park.
