Unfortunately, Sky call the tune. They pump the money into SL and without it we would probably be a semi professional game. But it's a pity there are not more companies bidding for SL coverage. We could get more money and perhaps stop this random movement of dates.
At least we haven't sold out completely like Wigan, Leeds, saints etc who all play all their home games on a Friday night ! I quite like the variety to be honest but I understand the frustration for those with small children.
Anything is better than no game at all and without sky's money I doubt we would be watching the likes of hodgson, briers, Morley and Westwood in a wire shirt.
Without the sky money the game would still be amateur at best but would still be better than RU ha ha
