I went to the game yesterday at the Odsall Stadium but wonder whether it actually took place judging by the lack of any comments on our forum.

Thinking about it I'm not surprised that no one has posted anything as it was probably one of the most insipid, non events that I've had the misfortune to witness. I only basically went through devotion to duty but couple our usual lack of success at this venue together with its totally non existant atmosphere made it an afternoon to forget. It's only my second ever visit to the ground and will be definitely be my last. How anyone can watch Rugby week in and week out in that depressing crater miles away from the field of play is totally beyond me. Mind you, we didn't have anything to cheer about with the game over as a contest after just 15 minutes but even the home supporters, despite the incentive of a play off place at stake, barely raised their voices more than once or twice.

I'm going to turn off the lights now and sit in a dark room. I'm depressed.

Bradford the event



game was over for me before the kick off we should have claimed the points when they delayed the kick off for a parachute that never arrived and then when Robbie came on the muppet on the mic stated last game at the Galpharm, got me to thinking how lonely that fellow must have felt drifing down into an empty stadium in Huddesfield and asking the doorman to let him out or climbing out with all his gear.

The music was too loud and over 5 mins to announce the team because each had a signature tune, so all in all the game seemed too far away and then it became a penalty fest for Bradford with 7 of their tries coming off the back of penalties. It was just stop start, when we did throw the ball about we scored and with a little more thinking we might have got a few more. Dismal day all round with nothing to cheer apart from the three scores and a couple of long runs that ended in lost ball in the tackle, which again we did it was a knock Bradford did it was a steal. Onto Leeds and our last game of the season, can we do the double?

That guy does my tits in, at our last match he was spoken to by stewards for staring and smiling at a group of young girls, you cant even not notice him, cos if you try not to he just runs right in front of you waving a bag of sweets and a big cheesy smile.

But apart from that. What else has the Sod-all Stadium ever done for us?

Depite the faults with Odsall( and believe me I think its the worst ground in SL), I`d much prefer it to Valley Parade or what ever its called these days.

I only went to VP once, in that stand behind the sticks which was designed with dwarfs in mind and inhabited by the stewards from hell.

There were lot of complaints by visiting supporters at the the time from what I can remember.

Hmmmm! Picking on a guy who obviouosly has a mental health problem. You must be sooooooo proud of your son.

Salford did what i said they would do the played the occation, the game had gone in the first 5 Mins because in their heads they were playing Bradford from 5 Years ago.

Well yeah I am, if anybody came up to his face (my son is non-discriminatory, you're the one making a point about his mental illness) and gave him the V-sign I would expect him to stick up for himself and tell them at least to go away, which is what he did. If you think that, combined with him kissing his shirt (one that he's proud to wear) is picking on someone you're wrong.



I suppose you think it's OK for someone to try and deliberately wind people up, gesture obscenely and make threats of slitting someones throat. I wonder if you'd feel the same if one of the girls he was learing over would've been your daughter.
