Yes, it's an important game, but it's no 'cup final' - even if we win, there's absolutely no guarantee for us to make the playoffs. I'm not sure about Hull's run-in for their next few fixtures but we've got a very difficult stretch of games coming up. It's a game we could possibly win in theory, but not one that we're going to go into as favourites. If we win then we win, but the season is far from over so, like I said, I'd hardly call it a cup final.

After you's we play Leeds (a) Wigan (h) Catalans (h) Crusaders (a) Cas (a) and them Wire at home .

I hardly think two teams fighting to make EIGHTH spot are in any position to suggest the other team is playing a cup final.

Now this season Warrington away was probably our cup final.

The ability to get to and from Hull on a Friday night is a bigger factor, I'd have thought. It's certainly done for me tonight.

Hull arent really fighting for 8th though, 6th should should be the minimum target for us and a win tonight will put us there. Our form since Easter has largely been very good, indeed had we replicated the form of our last 10 games in our first 10 we would be 4th.

I dont want be too disrespectful to Salford but I can only see a straightforward win tonight. Three scores in it maybe. However I still think you could oust Castleford out of the 8, they have a very tricky run in.

You're in a good run of form, but who have you actually beaten? Wakefield, Bradford and Harlequins in the last four games, all teams we've beaten this season and you beat us at our place before that. You may well be a better team and win tonight, but I really don't think Hull are as good as you're making out.

You're only one point ahead of Salford, so you're still fighting for a place in the play offs!!! Does an F1 driver think, I'm in third pushing for second and forget all about the cars behins him? No!!!

I'd say the two sides are fairly evenly matched tonight. Our up and coming pack against your somewhat seasoned bigger names, on paper, Salford have the better halves and there isn't much between to the backlines. Although, Yeaman does add a touch more class to yours, we have the fattest man in super league.

Given our extra creativity in the halves and/if Salford defend well tonight, we'll win.

At the start of the season, he was averaging about 4/5 meters per carry, that figures now up at 7. Though, I'd still like to see him not get skinned at least once a game.

In our last 10, we have beaten Hull KR, Warrington, Salford, Bradford, Quins and Wakefield with a draw v Saints, we have competed well in the games we have lost. I'm not making us out to be anything special, we are a good way off the top 4 at the moment, but with our squad we should reasonably expect to finish in the top 6.

We had a terrible start to the season which put paid to us being near the top, but our points difference shows we have been competive much more often than the teams below us.

Most bookies have us on a +12 handicap . against Hull

last week they had us on Harlequins +8 against us and we won by8

Your pack was dominated big style by ours tonight. Only your halves are much 'on paper' than ours, however behind a severely beaten pack, it didn't really matter.
