Ade Gardner, I'd rather we didn't thanks, I've never really rated him, like a few have said with the quality of Gidley and Lyon before him, I think any winger would score tries. Can you imagine Jodie playing there, he'd be in the England team no worries.

I hope it isnt him, like people have said he is playing in a St Helens team which promotes the ball, he has always had a world class centre inside him that and the quality service around him id back myself to dive over at least 10 times a season. I dont think ive seen him run more than 10 metres to score ever or beat a man.

Look, Ade Gardner would be a great signing for you lot. Lets not forget, you are still a team who are wooden spoon fodder. He is exactly the signing you should be looking for to take you to midtable, then you build on that. Hes a rock in defence and is a grafter. Whilst Broughton is quicker, Gardners all round game is ten times that of Broughton.

Can't agree with you there. Broughton is faster, more agile, just a solid and does a lot of work for a winger.

Apparently he has a contract at Saints next year but what does that mean in this day and age? Mind you the bloke on Saints Left Wing is out of contract. Interesting times.

Fata for entertainment alone is a resounding yes, he was almost unstoppable one on one. Ford was coming to the end of his time when I started watching Salford, so can't comment on him.

If theredshed meant the two best wingers he've had at the same time, then I think Wilshire and Hodgson might have something to say about that.

For pure entertainment value Tex was the man, the way he flew off his touchline to absolutely nail opponents was worth the entrance money alone. (Talk about bone shakers) It was just a great pity he only had the catching ability of a three year old.

As for Ken we was a points scoring machine for Salford!

rogers, Mcavoy,pinkney,Johnson,stewart,hodgy,broughton,gibbo ,offiah
we have rarely had a crappy winger its the service they received that was the problem.

I realise many people on here did not see them but we had the best wing partnership of all time at this club. Fielding and Richards!!! I don't think any club anywhere in the World can boast 2 wingers of that quality at the same time!

I think putting Junior Langi in there is abit harsh, scored some good tries for us and didnt make too many mistakes
