English RL, have we not learnt over the years that you pick players in thier regular, O'Loughlin isn't a stand off and Brugess isn't a prop. And I also have grave concerns that Tomkins will get found out at fullback.

Sorry but I think the hardest working Aussie this weekend will be the one manning the scoreboard controls.

No what?? that we havent learnt our lesson from failed atempt after failed atempt to crow bar players in just to get them on the park.

Sam Tomkins at full back = sensible move, take pressure off him and give him more freedom. Didn't do too badly at FB for Wiggin did he??

Sam Burgess at prop = not much difference to what he's asked to do at 2nd row and has played at prop plenty times for Souths this past season.

O'Loughlin at 6 = lost on just about everyone I'd say!

Robinson at 7 = well deserved after his performance last week.

The only one I agree with is Tomkins, but then again he has the best outfit in the world attacking him.

Sorry Burgess is along with Ellis the best 2nd row in international RL so why break the partnership.

O'Loughlin I don't see being anything other than a good loose forward, if we havent got a better stand off than him then it's time to give in gracefully.

Robinson looked dangerous everytime he had the ball at hooker last week, start him there and hope we get the thick end of a full game out of him.

Think as a whole we've gone into the whole tour sadley lacking in the halves and hookers.

And if they get through the England pack then they will have failed miserably, it won't be totally Tomkins' fault, however much I'd like to blame him!!

Not in the squad of players out there we don't. Kevin Brown was given the chance last week and looked woefully out of his depth but fair do's to him he kept trying all match. A steady hand at 6 may be exactly what we need.



Too risky to play Robinson at hooker from the start of a game and no way is he a better option to start than Roby.



When you consider the likes of McGuire, Eastmond, Burrow, Pryce, Sinfield, Myler, Diskin are all absent then that's no real shock is it??

No I fully I understand that if Tomkins gets panned at FB then the rest of the squad will have failed, FWIW I think he is a talented player, just see him as our most creative half.

Much as I dislike him if any second rower needs to play prop (though is it really needed??) I'd personally play Westwood there.

Think we have gone without a class stand off in the squad.

Ok I forgot about Roby but I still say when Robinson was running from dummy half last week he created the most chances.

Scott Moore for me would have been an option hell i'd even go so far as to say Lee Briers would have been a decent option. I'm not a selector and i'm not saying that it's an easy job but think a better fist of it could have been made.
