I'd have Joel Moon back - class centre, seriously unsettled by the shenanigans going on at the club at the time, Patten trying to be his agent didn't help.

Likewise I'm not fussed about those that left over the winter. Ratchford is a quality young player that came through our academy ranks and it hurt to see him leave on a free.

Absolutely not - a class player. Yes he messed us about, but IMHO there were plenty of extenuating circumstances for any player to be considering their future at that time.

If he did come back then we could paraphrase St Luke - "there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to Salford than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't"



However I suspect that one's unlikely.

I'd have them all back along with Sean gleeson which I don't think anyone has mentioned? Would also love to see luke Robinson back also at hooker! Become a great player around the ruck! Can't blame players for leaving for more money else where, it's a short career and if I got offered more money to go work somewhere else I'd take it, as would nearly everyone on here!

S.Gleeson was our best centre by far last year, even better than Moon.

I don't blame Moon for leaving us when he did atall, along with Holdsworth etc. It's already been said but its a very short career and people have bills to pay so when it looked like we were on the brink of folding and clubs like Hull and Leeds came in for them with secure futures, along with probably better salaries and trophy oportunities they were quite sensible to leave.

On topic i'd have Moon and Ratchford back 100%. If the rumours i'm hearing are anything to go by,Ratchford could be back sooner rather than later.

I am getting to like Dr Koukash more and more each day. Looking forward to beating the likes of Warrington, Wigan and Leeds regularly and signing their best players. If it's good enough for them...........

Whilst I appreciate quality players are few and far between, as a fan I would be a little miffed if we got a new owner who went out and bought players that left the club. Whilst its a good position to be in and one of strength when it comes to cash for transfers I would hate to pay more than we got for a player we sold a few years earlier. I'm looking forward to the new birth of Salford and to have a more competitive league. Get Dr K to get his cash card out soon.

Excellent interview and every time you get to hear the man you can just tell he's hooked. Wonder who on earth he's talking about with the other two new players, if as someone else says one is Steff coming back I'd be like a pig in an ocean of poo as still rate him as one of the most naturally talented rugby players I've ever seen. Know it's slightly off topic I'd quite like to see if we could offer a bit of money of a player for Eden from KR as he does look a bit special and I'd say a future full international full back.

It just so happens that I was sat the row in front of the Wire players at last night´s Ruggerinthering event. I did cheekily suggest to Stef that he might want to come back next season now we´ve got some money.
