Another 5 years of the dreary Super League branding. **shakes head**

I take it all back, SKY'S coverage is just brilliant.

I am basing this on watch the Chanel 4 coverage of the Super Bowl, it's that bad I've just shelled out for live American coverage.

Lenegan makes some interesting points in the League Express.
The truth is that we have no idea whether this will turn out to be a good deal financially or not,because we don't know what the broadcasting landscape will be like in a couple of years.
I do know that,if it had come out in 2 years that the RFL had turned down this deal then they would have been heavily criticised if nothing better was available.
So,it was a judgment call.
The only question is whether those people making the decision were equipped to do so,and whether they took advice. Did they know,for example,how much might have been on offer from BT.
It was a difficult decision.

I'd love to know if BT or any other broadcaster showed any firm interest. I personally hoped for a move away from SKY as I on principal won't subscribe.
