After yrs of being in favour, I'm now against. It cost the M Storm a GF place in 2011, as M Checcin was taking us back 12m but T Archer was only taking the Warriors back 10m. The assistant refs (TJ's), as has bn said on here should help with the defensive line. Obviously having just 1 ref, as N Cleal is in favour of, it would be the same for both sides, obviously. Have you bn to Tenby?

Because it was said they would improve on the 70%/30% split, but it seems that 80/20 is the best they can achieve, well if it's below 98%/2% then I don't want it. I would prefer inconsistently bad, rather than potentially inconsistently bad. Besides, I'm not one who has ever called for the ruck to be quick, quite the opposite in fact. I was loving watching Melbourne completely dominate Leeds in the tackle area in the WCC of 2010, I've never loved Adam Blair so much. Listening to the Leeds supporters shout and complain about it was music to my ears

you're being facetious, no of course I wasn't saying that, just that everyone seems to think that all RL refs are hopeless, which IMO they're not (it's more a case of ppl needing counselling and relaxation exercises). With one ref at least players and supporters will get consistency, and a lot of ppl and players don't like the 'pocket' referee charging in shouting at the players very close to the ruck, and I see their point.

I obviously don't want a slow ruck, I want good tackling rewarded. On another issue regarding the criticism of referees in Aus, especially on forums, it's ridiculous, I think NRL refs are the best in any sport in the world.
