Surely they'd have been netter with someone like Ben Hornby to replace Wing.I thought Morris deserved a chance in the team but as a starting centre not a bench player.
When they bring Morris on they must be gonna put Jarryd Hayne to full-back with morris on the wing and move Gidley to the halves or hooker depending on who goes off.
You watch Trent Barrett will get smashed in the first minute and do his back in again so morris will get a full game.

| cant wait for the game tonight.
ignored most of the nrl on the weekend to stay fresh
couple of hours will be making the trek to the mecca.
think queensland will wrap it up and look at a whitewash
crowd expected at over 80,000 and TV ratings will be over 3 million
thank you kevin humpries and Ron mcauliffe.
your vision has given us the best RL on the planet

| Right what do the NSW selectors do for game III, do they go with the same team or pick a team with next year in mind. I think think the latter.
Wallace and Barrett must go with Campese and Mullen coming in. Give Ennis a go or stick with Farah, atleast Brett Stewart will be back next year, i know Gidley is a great player but he's better starting on the bench as utility IMO. Williams, Lyon, Monaghan out Morris brothers and Jennings in, Jarryd Hayne has surely got Darius Boyd's Aussie jumper for the 4 Nations he's unbelieveable, if NSW backline had 5 Jarryd Hayne's they'd be better then Queensland

| Harsh on Barrett, deserves to stay for mine. And I can't believe i'm saying this, but i'd go with Barrett/Kimmorley as the halves. Never would've considered it before Game I, but Kimmorley is in superb form.
Sh*t, I guess i'd go something like this...
1. Kurt Gidley
2. Michael Jennings (still feel Monnas is an asset, but we need out and out pace)
3. Jarryd Hayne
4. Matt Cooper
5. Brett Morris
6. Trent Barrett
7. Brett Kimmorley
8. ? (Kite is a deadset softc*ck, but we have no one else)
9. Michael Ennis (might as well see how he goes since it's a dead rubber)
10. Michael Weyman
11. Luke O'Donnell
12. Ben Creagh (must improve)
13. Paul Gallen
14. ? (Is Wing back?)
15. Anthony Watmough (welcome back to Origin)
16. ? (some prop, Poore has been...poor...same deal as Kite, we got no one else)
17. Tom Learoyd-Lahrs (see him floor Watmough in the warmup?)
Not much to get excited about, is there?

| I think the selectors should do what queensland did and start with a young team and stick with it starting in game 3. Peter Wallace has to go, he shouldn't have played in game II and doesn't deserve ANOTHER chance.
1. Kurt Gidley(Brett Stewart for next year)
2. Jarryd Hayne
3. Michael Jennings
4. Josh Morris
5. Brett Morris
6. Terry Campese/Jamie Soward
7. Jarrod Mullen
8. Michael Weyman
9. Robbie Farah
10. Justin Poore
11. Luke O'Donnell
12. Ben Creagh
13. Paul Gallen
14. Craig Wing(Gidley when Stewart's back)
15. Anthony Watmough
16. Tom Learoyd-Lahrs
17. Luke Douglas/Brett White???

| Gallen had a stinker if NSW cannot find someone better than him then they really have a problem - a very average player who simply tackles around the head a lot.

| so disappointed for the blues last night
jarred hayne was simply brilliant as was anthony watmough
haynsey has to be full back, i dont care what they do to gidley
the wolfman was awful. all those dropped balls and then when the game is close and a try is on he kicks on an early tackle
jamie lyon was a waste of space as well.
well done blues.
drop farah and give ennis a chance

| Will Bellyache be the NSW coach for next years series and if not who will???
I think he'll step down after game III, they'll get beat in Brisbane and he will have won 1 game from 6. The selectors want sacking aswell but the coach must have a say in what team he wants and i know they've had injuries but what is going on with the team, select a team and stick with it thats the only way they'll win.

I think he's a bit better than average to make the starting 13 for the Aussies every game. Yes he had a stinker but so did most of the NSW team.

enjoyed my first origin!, NSW are lucky they have Hayne because they have nothing else! Queensland were there for the taking IMO, but NSW had no direction at all, they or should i say we, (I can say that now!! ) need some decent halfbacks in the near future or the Queensland dominance will continue for a while IMO!
And for all us English are a lot worse at the actual game of Rugby League, we do win at one thing, atmosphere, I have had more atmosphere at SL games with 5,000 there, there was over 80,000 last night and it felt like 8,000, allthough I willput that down to a poor NSW performance, the only time it seemed alive was when the biff was on!
I will say ANZ is a fantastic stadium with the best onsite facilities of any stadium Ive been to, and despite the quiet nature of the crowd I had a blast!

english fans do make more noise but telstra stadium isnt the best for atmos. that was actually a pretty good atmos, you should be there when there is under 10,000 there, its a grave yard.
nsw have jarred mullen or jamie soward who are both better than wallace.
when the crowd starting doing the wave i thought it was such a big w**k.
i started shouting, you aint at the cricket.

the selectors should be sacked
around 2000 when queensland got belted they had a cleenout, so should nsw.
phil gould has been very critical of selections including leaving out matty cooper and picking mitchell pearce last year at half.
gus should be a selector.
