No war, just simply the coach and 2 of our first team squad signing new FT contracts
Just as importantly, some young kids in the reserves signing FT contracts too. Its looking good for us with a FT team full of solidarity and experience of playing together for years to come.

There will be a number of announcements at Leigh in the coming weeks, we have confidence in our young players and are agreeing full time deals with them almost daily
Wigan and Leeds have shown the benefits of structure and continuity, you should always learn from the best

| From a outsider looking in, the amount of investment in clubs outside of Superleague is on the up, and that can only be good for the sport.

At least they are realistic about the level of players they should be aiming for at their level (Pitts, Kent & Siejka) www.featherstonerovers.net/article.php?id=13049
or not....."The club can confirm that Huddersfield have rejected a treble transfer offer for Crabtree, Ferres and Brough and no further approach will be made."

| It looks like the fake sheik is up to his old tricks again now that some Featherstone fans have started to question what they will do if he pulls out his “investment”.
Getting players signed up like Kent, Blackmore and Bridge on loan haven’t set the world alight down Post Office Road so what does he do – puts an offer in for Brough, Crabtree and Ferres from Huddersfield. Of course it’s instantly laughed off by Huddersfield.
Could it be a PR stunt or just a way of getting the fans to believe that they really are aiming high?
Get ready Rhino’s fans - Feisal’s planning to take McGuire, JP and Ryan Hall off your hands for the right price.

It looks to me like a bloke who desperately wants to be Marwan Koukash, clumsily emulating the Dr's headline grabbing, cock of the walk approach to player recruitment, but getting it embarrassingly wrong.

I would add that I think he is taking "advice" from another ex-employee from the Jungle.
They tried for Broughy but got Seijka on loan- says it all really. He is making himself look daft.

| I dont know much about Fev's investment, but I applaud them for going after Brough, Crabtree and Ferres. Obviously they knew they would never get them, but it's a signal of intent from them and shows ambition. People laughed when Marwan Koukash made an audacious (but genuine) bid for Sam Tomkins, 12 months later and he's signed the first choice NZ international and RLWC finalist Kevin Locke (who Tomkins coincidentally replaced at the Warriors).
Clubs will always go about their business in different ways, there is no right and wrong way and Leigh and Fev will go about reaching Super League via totally different directions. I just hope people support them both and we dont get another hate campaign as we've seen for all things Salford and Koukash with Fev and Feisal.

If Hudds had said ' ok, we will sell them' I doubt they could get them in under the cap for that level.

| Well our man with the mouth is always entertaining.
I particularly enjoyed the description of a contract for the rest of the season (a dozen games) as a "permanent signing".
As for Siejka, you'd think they'd signed one of the all-time greats to a five year contract - but no, a guy who has played less than 10 times for Wakefield ON A MONTHS LOAN! I can feel the tremors going through the world of RL right now...

People laughed because it was laughable. I don't applaud them for going after Brough, Crabtree & Ferres at all, I find it pathetic and can't believe that people see it as ambitious rather than ridiculous. None of them have a link to Fev, they're current internationals at the top of their game. They are unrealistic targets and making a bid for them is embarrassing. In the same way as Salfords bids for Tomkins or SBW were embarrassing.
Now Salfords bid for Morley was ambitious, same as Locke. Realistic targets. Not ridiculous bids just to try and hoodwink a few naive fans.
As for a hate campaign? Don't be so touchy.

| Im still yet to see any proof of where Feisel has made promises to Cas or fa and not kept them. Where are these official statements has made stating his intent at either of those teams.
Dont get me wrong I wish we could just go about our business quietly, i think the bids for the 3 hudders players was ridiculously stupid. At the moment we have no other option than to wait and see what happens.
Hes been at the club for a while now and so far everything he has promised he has delivered, which is polar opposites to what cas and fax fans say.
Its the Leigh fans making me laugh, spouting off like they have been the best run club in RL for the past 10 years. Short memories

| Where are the Leigh fans spouting off. We were nearly out of existence 18 months ago, so I find it unlikely any Leigh fan would be spouting what you state.
What I find shocking with Fev is the fact the 'new' Stand has been built by 'retired volunteers'. Why hasn't Feisal paid for that to be built if he is so serious about SL. Your pitch by the way is still not fit for National Conference rugby.
Bigger chip on your shoulder about Leigh than Feisal. Maybe I should avail you of the story of when he signed the original shirt sponsorship deal with Fev. Think it happened at the GF when it was held at Warrington a few years ago. Then again I probably won't. Has he been involved for 2 years yet, as thats when he usually dissolves his companies, 13 or so at the last count

Lots of you on here slating fev at every opportunity, lots of threads about how well your run and you the model of how a club should be run. Its taken you long enough to get it right ffs.
all plans for the stand were in place before Feisel came to the club. he handed over a cheque for 60k other week if to finish it off.
The volunteers actually want to see the job through. there was talk about getting people in to finish off the work be they didn't want it. Suppose it kinda like spending a week doing a jigzaw then a visitor coming to the house and putting the last piece in.
Also looking at a 3g at 4g pitch. But the leveling of the ground isn't straight forward. If I had my way we would keep it. RL becomig robotic as it is without giving everyone a flat pitch to play on too to make it easier and take even more thought or tactics out of the game

Maybe the fact that all your press releases keep mentioning Leigh!!
No need for handbags between fans, you keep doing what your doing ( and good luck in your quest) and we will keep doing what we are doing.

| I'm obviously a Cas fan but do take a keen interest in our near neighbours as I as many others do have plenty of flat cappers in the family.
This will probably be seen as another anti fev post from a cas fan but I can assure you it isn't.
I have been very reliably informed that Faisal made the offers after last Sunday's game in an drunken bit of PR. This guy and his sidekick Poskitt need to concentrate on paying the security staff as they weren't paid last week ( This may now not be the case).
I fear for Fev with this guy in charge, They have already lost there identity as a club that wouldn't bring in dual reg players. What next I ask?
Get shut of him and go back to how it was, As the saying goes "if it isn't broke, don't try and fix it"
