Serves them right. HKA have treated Mason very shoddily. Yes he spoke to another club, but if you had offered me a job halfway round the world, made me get a passport from another nation to do that job because you had failed to organize things at your end, and then banned me from doing that job because a succession of faillings at your end, i think seeking alternative employment would be the very least I would do.

I can't really see how anyone can blame Mason at all for the shambles. Shoddy work from KR.

Hmm, both in the CC Q/F, level on head-to-head games won this season, and a mere 3 points separating the two clubs, hardly a long way...

Despite the disasterous season we're having so far we're still doing better than Fulcrubronquins Experiment, and that's with all the millions of pounds of back-handers you've probably had the last 15 years (and preferential treatment in other ways). Oh and our support is still a hell of a lot more than you too, despite you wrongly having a 10 year head-start in SL, so....

How can a Rovers fan have a pop at a club for preferential treatment after all this dispensions lark I haven't a clue!

Because we've acted within the rules at all times, and the same treatment would have been given to any other club in the same situation. Fulcrubronquins on the other hand were fast-tracked to SL when other clubs much more deserving were screwed out of their chance, bailed out by the RFL when they went bust, etc.

Last time I checked Cooke hadn't been sued for breach of contract.

Technically Hull have got until next year though to take action against him haven't they? (if they wanted to). Might be wrong on that, just remember a 5-year period been mentioned at the time.

In any case I don't see how a merged Hull team would ever benefit SL as much as having both real clubs in does - we both take great support to other clubs (thus contributing plenty of revenue), both have good home support, rugby-mad city (but wouldn't be for a merged club IMO). Keep both separate and let the rivalry never end.
