Another injury hit season of failure?

Terrible year so far for kits, with the best ones being average, and the worst being apalling.

Until...... Salford came along. Absolute class - best by a country mile. Grandad collar, good sized vee, cotton type material, retro, yet classic and modern too. Superb, and well done to them for refusing the crap that kooga gave all the other clubs!!

The RFL should tell Puma to reverse the colours, and you would then have a great England kit for years to come.

I can't believe that there are some salford 'fans' on here complaining about there being sponsors on it etc etc (see salford thread). Only in RL.... Their club is skint, yet they are moaning about companies paying to appear on the jersey.

You would know you have have 25 plus years of it.

Rovers kit looks better then the first picture and isn't a bad shirt, but doesn't look like a Rovers shirt, as you can see from the excellent Cas and salford tops simple and traditional are the way forward.

Being one of those 'complaining' about the sponsors... I'm more than happy to see the team wearing the shirt with sponsors... I just think the fans would like to be offered one without the sponsor... keeping it as retro as it could get.

Trouble with that is part of the sponsorship deal is to have the company name on the replica.

A lot of people seem to be bagging Kooga out for quality, but I bought the latest Wallabies jersey made by them and the quality is superb.

I do love those evocative colour names, like Hunslet's myrtle and flame. What else do we have? Wire's primrose and blue, Hudds' claret and gold, Wigan's cherry and pink...

I can't call people for liking Yawnion Barry, some people just get brought up watchin it, but League is clearly a better sport, so it is the Union brigade that need to change their tune I think. It's just like the music arguments I have with people all of the time, people who watch X factor think they have taste, problem is most people watch or listen to what the media plugs into their thick heads, i.e. Union, Soccer and the X-factor.

I think they are complaining that it is a retro jersey which is also a limited edition.

I personally don't think that that is going to be there actual playing jersey.

Having played both codes my personal view is that Union is better to play, whereas League is better to watch (I just happened to enjoy playing Union more).

However, watching Union is so, so excruciatingly boring. I've been trying to get into Union. International, I don't know why is the worst to watch. Club Rugby can be interesting at times, but I can't get into a match that has no line breaks, constant dropped balls and the only points scored from penalty conversions.

I stand corrected. I just saw the pic that had been put on here and thought it was just a limited edition to comemorate there last season at the Willows.
