It was not a perfect game by either side, but limiting a determined wakey side to 1 try each half.

I think given it was a cup game and score lines are not relevant, it's easier to take your eye off the ball. I always thought if wakey could score 2 and keep saints out it would have been alot closer.

Congratulation to St's, they can only play what's in front of them, but they're a well drilled side oozing with talent & got the job done convincingly.

They didn't bother putting Walmsley and Thompson back on, just spread it out wide instead and turned it into easy yards. Plenty of yards from all the back line was prove of that so there was no need to go up the middle not exactly a weakness just how the game panned out.

I think Wakey struggled with the pace of the plays and the switches in direction, they gave it a good dig though when Saints tried to play the fancy sloppy stuff.
