I'm going to take that on.
The rules this year have changed regarding injuries to speed up the game and generally unless a head injury its play on.
The fans were not booing the injured player it was the refs decision to stop the game for a bang on the knee.
The ref was right to stop it the second time for a head injury, but with it being in quick succession, to people not watching on TV it looks like a player going down yo play for time.
When the injury was clear he was clapped off the field. |
