Not so sure Clarke's capable of being embarrassed. Seems to me the Sky lot are as thick-skinned as they are thick.

How much time and money must have been wasted for it? To compile all of the stats, work out the relevant formulae, write the computer programs, produce the Sky graphics etc, it's completely pointless and is becoming a laughing stock after the first weekend!

Me and my missus normally watch Live at the Apollo or comedy roadshow late of an evening but we've recorded the first two sky games of the 2012 superleague season with the unbelievably funny "margin meter" moments as they're far funnier.

So it doesn't know the current score, then I can't wait until team a is winning 50-0 with 20 minutes left and then team b spend the next 15 minutes camped on team As line and Clarke is telling us team B will win by 9 points

Same here - even his clothes annoy me; where exactly does one buy an irridescent skinny tie and a jacket with lapels made of completely different fabric to the rest of the garment. He looked utterly bizzare.

Stupid idea, and quite irritating when it pops up during the game. It makes Phil Clarke even more of a joke.

I think you have to give it time to see what it can do. I can see what he's trying to do and over the course of a season it might work. I've no idea if it will but they're trying to innovate so let's see what happens. I'd hate for some of you to have been around when we invented fire...
