He's up there with Josh Miller and Lee Gilmour. I think O'Meley has knocked Miller out 3 times with the ball in hand. Round 23 this year was the first time Miller's knocked someone else out instead of himself, and curiously fitting that the victim was big Weyman.

If you mentioned Bell or Perry then I would have agreed, but Ryles is the only Walters target that has paid off this year* - we're only replacing him because he's offski. TBF it's nice to get a top-draw replacement for Ryles, but if we can't get one we'll just run with our local talent - we're not short on forwards.

(* Bird doesn't count since Walters never targeted him as a signing, he just joined us because he had no-where else to go.)

They have poms, an under sized and out of his depth at NRL level player in Fulton, a NSW cup player in Fitzhenry and a 30 year old rugby union player who was sacked by the ARU and hasn't played a competitive game in 8 years.



I doubt that even Marshall and Farah will be able to drag that shambled near the finals, which is a shame. They are two of the best players in the game.
