I am sad to report that the talented Toulouse and France national centre and winger, 24 year old Martinique born Gavin Marguerite, will be leaving Toulouse. Contract negotiations have broken down.

Any Championship or even Super League club that signs Marguerite now should be well served by this exciting talent. Unfortunately his 2019 season at Toulouse was interrupted by injuries. He played only 12 games but scored 7 tries in those games.

Any rumours of his next destination ?

All five of those options would be a massive step down, especially Toronto. Still you nailed it with one word - MONEY - that’s all Mitchell is interested in, he’s no real ambition other than getting rich. If he joins SL he could do so without putting in any effort, so I do expect to see him in the UK at some point.
