I'm not blaming France. My point was them selecting overseas players for their international team kind of renders the argument for French SL team redundant.

Incorrect, in the recent Olympics North and South Korea fielded a joint team with overseas born players.

But Australia, New Zealand and England play overseas born players.

Well, they don't need new teams to improve their international teams do they? Again what's the point for say Catalans or Toulouse to have a place in SL if they're French players are just going to be passed over?

That was just a unified Korea....South Korea had 7 players born from outside their country, whilst North Korea had none. So I am correct.....unlucky !

Also, N & S Korea are separated by a land border. So the word overseas won't apply to players representing each other

I think you'll find its more to do with how they get into SL then anything else (in my case anyway).

At the moment they're doing well, and should be in the top 4. Being intresting to see how they do against the bottom 4 SL sides. Who they get at home in the middle 8's could be a massive boast to there chances.

They should've been handed a place in SL two years ago. As it is they were made to start in League 1 and progress was put aside to appease morons, which may actually work in their favour as they now have a young, largely home-grown team which has played together against UK opposition for a number of years. But if ANYONE is complaining about Toulouse or claiming some sort of unfairness then frankly they are nothing more than bitter, sore losers who should be mocked and laughed at. They have literally started right at the bottom and done it themselves from scratch, as have Toronto.
