I suggest you re-watch the game again as the word "gay" was not used once. I was stood in the South Stand so I should know. I've also watched the game again on Sky+ since.

Phil Clarke is very clever, but he is not as clever as he thinks he is and always tries too hard to come across as cleverer than he is.
