Your suspicions are unfounded and your analogy does not exist. Try to think more clearly. I am sure you can do it if you try.

| Toulouse well positioned to consolidate their top four place by having a week off next week while everyone else plays in the Challenge Cup. I hope their application to be allowed to field 15 players every match also comes off. Good luck to them.

You'd have to be careful how you would market such a game.......if you refer to it as "a battle" nobody would show up

Do you think they are stronger than Catalan, Salford, KR, Huddersfield
Unless one of the current SL clubs implode, which could happen, there may be no change come the end of the season.
Salford look a little vulnerable right now and KR aren't quite up to speed but, Huddersfield and Catalan will be ok.

The number of clubs in Super League 2019 is yet to be confirmed. If it’s 14, there is a chance Toronto, London and Toulouse could all gain promotion.

Indeed.....and that would be more accurate then the fictional application for jobs. AFAIK, Gutters never applied for any jobs at the club and was actually only ever on the case of a certain CEO who reduced the club to rubble in his 1,140 day tenure.....I believe that there has only been 1 person with the word marketing in their job title at the club since 2006 and SHE lasted a year.....although he's right about David Hughes, a man who openly admits i the Book A pastel Revolution, that he hasn't a clue how to look after the day to day running of a club.......I mean to say, re-read the bit about the 1 year we had a marketing person in the last 12.
Anywhoooooo, back on thread.
Toulouse have 10 points, the same amount they had from the same games last season with HKR replaced by Leigh.....they are full deserving of 2nd spot and will probably make the 4, but I doubt they'll get more than 1 home win v championship opposition in the qualifiers.
With no trip to Canada and no Challenge Cup games to worry about they have certainly been dealt a favourable hand

And if Leigh manage to get their season back on track and Fax build on their performance yesterday, then there's a chance that Fev, Leigh and Fax could all gain promotion. Your point is, well, pointless.

Yes the teams in 3rd, 6th and 9th are really likely to all gain promotion.

...as likely as London, Toronto and Toulouse all going up!
Of the 3 I can see Toronto splashing the cash in Australia once the bottom 4 or 5 teams in the NRL have started their 'clear-outs" preparing for 2019....neither London of the white flag waving surrender monkeys have the cash. Any of the players mentioned in dispatches for the NYC bid would be prime targets...as would Money Bill Williams who apparently is no longer wanted by the AB's....his super rugby season is over in early August (if not sooner) and he'd love the chance to be the of attention at Toronto for a few weeks.....SBW, Hayne.....then Toronto would be able to compete, but currently they look average at best.
The next 3 games will all be major tests for the French.....anything less than 4 points and they'll finish 3rd at best....3 home games, 4 away and 2019 Championship beckons.

| Toulouse have just destroyed a top 4 pretender which goes by the name of Halifax. 38-6 is a fairly decisive drubbing.

Let us watch Toulouse put Halifax to the sword again at Halifax later this year.
Full-time vs part time is irrelevant. If Halifax cannot compete full time then they don't deserve to be considered for promotion to Super League.

| I think you'll find that there's no-one at Halifax who considers that they have any chance of promotion to SL this season, or indeed for quite a while. We thought we'd turned a corner after beating Leigh, but that's been probably the only highlight for us this season. Hats off to TO, and well done today. We were hopeful that Fax would be competing for a top 4 place, but this does look increasingly unlikely now unless we can somehow recapture the form we showed towards the end of last season.

| The Championship looks a very interesting league this year, not just because of expansion clubs all doing well but because of the traditional clubs that they are continuously measured against. Without either of them. The league wouldn't be half as interesting.

You're like a one man band. Quite talented playing a few instruments, but you only know one tune......., but will that tune still be the same after the weekend, where there are some mouthwatering clashes coming up, 1st Hosting 2nd, 3rd hosting 4th and then (as it stands now) 2nd v 4th and a resurgent pre-season favourite Leigh hosting "that there London".....the table could look oh so different 8 days time because some of the top teams are going to drop points!

| I hope Jean/Kev/Lebron isn't including Catalan in this expansion, this season shows why they do not deserve a seat at the top table.
Jean thinks so to with the lack of Catalan butt kissing at the moment, even he has come to realise they are garbage.

It'll be a hell of a lot clearer in a weeks time.
Leigh will need 4 points to stand a chance.......good win for them at the weekend but the bottom 2 are very weak so you'll have an easy Friday whilst we'll be tested to the full, so we may well rock up on Monday tired and injured......anything is possible.

You are correct, this weekends Championship fixtures are truely mouthwatering.
London, Toulouse and Toronto have been given very tough Easter fixtures, with both games against the other top clubs.
Leigh and Featherstone’s Easter fixtures are much more favourable, a significant advantage for those clubs in the league. I wonder if Derek had some influence over this when he was picking up his £500,000 which no other Championship club received.
The Easter fixtures are notoriously difficult to predict, but I think the winners will be.
London to win v Toulouse
Toronto to win v Featherstone
Leigh to win v Swinton
Toronto to win v Toulouse
London to win v Leigh
Featherstone to win v Rochdale
