How can you say that when world class exciting players Todd Carney and Albert Kelly are in the batch?
Also Kenneth Sio, Villiami Sione Tonga, and Ashton Sims are all top quality.

| There's reasons he's been a fringe NRL player all his career. Hopefully he enjoys it at hull and we see the best of him, after him, carney and sims the others are pretty ho hum.

| Adam Cuthbertson will be a lot better than many think.
Wayne Bennett tried to shut down his offloading, but that is the best aspect of his game, and once he is allowed to offload he will impress a lot of people.
He says he wants to play for England, and I think he is good enough.

That may be true but what I have seen of him over the past few years is not that inspiring tbh. He'd have to improve an awful lot and on a consistent basis to get into the England team imo.
Having said that I used to think Ashton Sims was rubbish and just a cheap shot merchant, but he was outstanding last season. So happy to be proved wrong.

| Have to go with Carney and Simms too. Think these two are nailed on to be cracking signings. Fui Fui may well prove the doubters wrong and comes in a close third.

| I'd go with Carney and Ben Roberts. Carney we all know is this renegade who is a very good talent so if he keeps his head down and gets on with the game then he'll stand out. Roberts is an interesting one, whenever i've seen him play for Samoa he looks a smart player for them, however he seems to lack a bit of consistency throughout the game. He'll go missing for a spell then pop up and do something very well. Not sure what he was like in the NRL as I haven't watched that much recently.

They show up the game in this country for the shambles it is at development especially players.
More money down the southern hemisphere and little in return.

Interesting game from 2012, when Parramatta scored 5 converted tries in the last 15 minutes, and who should be playing on the Parramatta team? No less than four of the incoming NRL imports:
Fui Fui Moi Moi -- Leigh Centurions
Benjamin Roberts -- Castleford Tigers
Villiami Sione "Willie" Tonga (try) -- Catalans Dragons
Kenneth Sio (try) -- Hull Kingston Rovers

| Carney is the only true marquee signing and the one im expecting to light up the league.
the rest are wait and see signings imo, sure there will be a few who turn out to be top players and a few duds but nothing to get excited about right now.

Todd Carney is definitely the number one signing of the incoming group. However if Albert Kelly is fit, I am confident that he can create havoc with opposing defences. Also, Maurice Blair could well turn out to be more impressive than people think.
But a warning. In the case of the new halves, it is going to take a few weeks before they can gel with their new team mates.
By contrast, if fit, forwards like Ashton Sims, Adam Cuthbertson, Daniel Harrison and Fui Fui Moi Moi should be able to show their talents from the first or second game.

| very slim pickings
Carney has incredible talent, and an even greater talent for shooting himself in the foot. As a person he is OK, as a drunk he is uncontrollable. Even his massive wage and hero worship at Cronulla couldn't stop him being an uncontrollable drunk!
Albert Kelly is an enigma, could be anything he wants, but has been released by every team he ever played for. I have watched him play some indigenous football and (surprisingly) does not stand out among more average players.
Sims I like big aggressive workhorse... but SL is full of those already he will not stand out.
To be honest the player I am most looking forward to seeing in SL next year is Clarke at Warrington... a great example of young British talent nurtured properly.

The deal being negotiated between Mr Terence Campese and Salford has fallen through. Unless he is willing to move to London, Mr. Campese will be out of work as a rugby league player.

If he doesn’t perform at Leigh we may decide to loan him out to a SL club.
