Dont want Lo-Fresh to go but he must be under a bit of pressure after the start Dragons have made.

| Interesting.
Tony Smith has started poorly and he looks like he'd going to have his work cut out to match previous seasons results with his current squad. He's surely still well in the black with Moran, but I can see him moving on by choice at the end of the season if he feels he and his squad have gone stale at Wire.

I agree with that. I don't think he'd be sacked but may move on at the end of the season.
I think this will be a stable year for coaches as the top 5 aren't going to get rid mid-season so Wane, McDermott, Brown, Smith & Anderson are safe. Out of those you'd say Brown has the best chance of being sacked if Saints good form turns to bad (ontop of a poor season last year) but I think he's safe anyway.
It'd be a brave/stupid board to get rid of Cummins at Bradford after all the crap he's had to deal with.
Hull FC aren't going to get rid of such a well thought of coach like Radford.
Salford aren't going to sack Noble just as they're starting to build.
London would be daft to sack Rea, who else would take the job?
That leaves Wakey, Cas, Catalans, Widnes & Hull KR.
Wakey have put some faith in Agar and, though they may be tempted if they're in or near the relegation spots after 1/2 to 2/3rds of the season, I think they'll stick with him.
I'd also be surprised if Cas got rid of Powell when he's trying to build something.
I think the most at risk are Frayssinous, Betts and Sandercock. Sandercock and Frayssinous a bit less so because I wouldn't expect Hull KR and Catalans to be troubled by relegation but if they have poor seasons you never know.
But if Widnes are in serious threat of relegation later in the season then Betts could be on his way.

| At half time on Sunday, Craig Sandercock
His position is being reviewed come Easter as it was last year, the Hull KR squad on paper is probably the best it's ever been in the SL era, so he will be under pressure to deliver a solid season.
I'll go for Agar and John Kear to provide a minor miracle again for Wakey ala 2006!

Warrington are going to struggle to reach the heights of previous seasons for a while IMO because the quality of player available to sign from down under and in England has gone down hill rapidly from the days of bringing in Morley, Monaghan x 2, Hodgson etc. They have pretty much relied solely on bringing ready made players in from outside the club to make them a top force but as we all know, top imports aren't coming over from the NRL and any top players within superleague will be courted by teams like Wigan, Saints, Leeds and especially a cashed up Salford.
They'll be there or thereabouts still but will need to show patience with the likes of Ormsbey, O'Brien, Glenn Riley, Ben Currie and Ben Evans. These lads have massive shoes to fill and it won't be easy. I do however think Smith will see it as a great challenge and if anything it'll temp him to stay on rather then having the opposite effect.

| One day the directors/committee of clubs will grow a pair and sack the incompetent players for not doing the job they are being paid for.
If the players are so "professional" they will not work with one person then they will not work with anyone new.
Here ego here ego .
Time for reality check with some players who take money under false pretences.

| I don't see Noble as secure at all, in fact if results don't go his way I think he is very vunerable under the eye of a big spending and ambitious owner who could look to the NRL for a top coach.

He'll get some leeway at the front end of the season, if he's not getting results come mid season it could be a possibility though.

I'll go for Agar !

Only if you've got enough cash to pay his 3 year contract, far more likely to be Gentle as you guys have far greater expectations than Wakefield fans.
We started the season playing for 11 spot in SL and the worst we will get is to miss our objective by 2 places, you guys on the other hand believe that you are title contenders

| Wakey would struggle to sack Agar. They would have to pay up his contract and appoint another coach who will be well rewarded. That maybe finance too far in Wakey's current state.
Frays at Catalans could be very vulnerable. They have three home games out of their first nine the first being Leeds this weekend. David Waite sacked Steve Deakin prior to their first season and I don't think he'd hesitate to do the same again if they were in the bottom two after a third of the season.

| You seem like a very knowledgable about RL.
Except that Gentle isn't the Hull coach anymore and no Hull fan has said we are title contenders.
Apart from that it's a good post.
