For England, yes.
For us, probably just about I'd say. He's certainly been good enough for the squad, not sure about first team though.

Burgess will be in definitely, Lynch will be in with a shout and if there are any late injuries Scruton, Halley, Sykes will be back up, but only after a couple of players, but there recent form can only have brought them to TS's attention even more.

I really don't get how Lynch continues to get overlooked for England.

He's certainly better than Crabtree, Fa'asavalu, Fielden, Griffin & McCarthy-Scarsbrook, who've all been picked ahead of him in the last couple of years.

I think you've got that mixed up.

You can change allegiance every 2 years. You don't have to wait 2 years after your last game.


If he'd only declared for Wales last year, he would have to wait until 2 years from that point. Since he's been playing for Wales for more than 2 years, he's eligible for England now.

And yes, Halley played fullback for Wales and that was 10th October last year, so it will be next year's tournament before he is eligible.

Interesting that they've changed that. Although I can't say I disagree with them doing something to discourage players changing allegiances so freely.
