Well i have got to be completely honest and we visit the fish shop on the roundabout after every home game. We have never had a bad meal out of there.

Haven’t been in years but they were always good no doubt still using dripping rather than oil which you get on the other side of the hill. I remember the shock of arriving at Bradford uni and going to the chippy to see the following on the menu.

Must admit, I've never had owt from the Odsal Top chippy, but I've never heard a bad word about it either.

Billy Murgs however, I could not agree more. Best Fish n Chips I've had and a million miles better than the supposed famous Harry Ramsdens, which are incredibly overrated. Murgs ain't the cheapest though, so it's generally a treat thing. Unless you're an OAP that is, when it seems to be pretty good value (hence why it's always packed with pensioners). Saying that, last time I went in there, Andy Lynch was sat there with what I assume was his family.

beacon road is very well regarded. Odsal is my local and i think the new owners have done a fantastic job, although I think the portions can be small tbh.

The fountain chippy v close to murgys is my fav and has been for years!
