I am sure people can judge. Last week you were quick to use 99% of the crowd as a reason to back up your own points. This week there were quite a bit more than 1% who appeared to have issues with the coach and the side.

As for it being untruthful? Your inference was clearly there as you suggest that booing was unacceptable at the game.

You used this as a bit of comfort last week but the fact is now that the opinion is clearly different from the one that you spoke of last week.

There was a lot of boos ringing out last night. It made me feel sick.
Horrible. I can't imagine how it made the players feel.

And besides, some Bulls fans have got a lot to learn about booing. Some of the Warrington fans were booing their own players as they were announced. That's true dedication, travelling all the way over to boo the team!

I am sick and tired of you twisting what people say to suit your own perverted ends. You have a very long track record of doing it. Its not clever. Its dishonest. You lied about what I actually said, then when I proved you to be a liar you just continue down a different route of attempting to demonstrate that something different was said or meant to what actually was.

There were many very very angry and dispirited fans on here last night posting genuine emotion and genuine feelings. I entirely respect their views and their right to do and post what they do, even if I don't always agree. Unfortunately we had one dishonest supposed supporter on - you - who it appeared could just not wait to get on to show how clever he was and how smart he was at twisting what people said to suit his own nasty mean little agenda. If you want to come on and rub people's noses in it then fine - I and others did that to you last week. But do it honestly and don't lie.

Emotion, passion, genuine anger I am fine with. But dishonesty from a seeming attention-seeking drama queen who appears to thrive on the club's problems deserves nothing but contempt. We have enough problems to contend with without you fanning the flames.

Yes, they may well have done. And probably a lot more emotions too. And on that showing most of them could have few grounds to argue.

But have you ever had any success in motivating people on your team through humiliation? I haven't in all my God-knows how many years of managing people. I'm not sure how you DO motivate some of that lot (a bazooka may be one option, but its probably a little too anti-social) but I'm sure there must be more effective ways. The trouble is, we as fans have limited options compared to the coaching staff, and as paying customers the players will surely realise why some fans reacted the way they did.

I heard little booing in the area of the stand where I am, although you could hear some pockets of it. Some Localised Macca Out shouts near the end. If fans want to vent their feelings that way, they have every right to.

But what was far more worrying to me was the general look of stunned despair on so many faces, and the number of people leaving early saying I've had enough of this. It was the silence, the numbness, that was scary. In the long run, we are going to lose dedicated supporters, and unfortunately that could be the real legacy of what we saw last night.

Oh I am happy to rub peoples' noses in it. Shame that some of them will not post on here for a while till the next win.

It might give them a kick up the backside, spur them on to prove us all wrong... I can't see it though.

I would like to hear what options are open to fans to show their disgust of what is going on. We have been told not to boo? We should not walk out before the end? What can we do? I suppose we should cheer but not as loudly as we do when we are pleased. I can hear the players now " Flipping heck Riki. Can you hear the crowd? Only 96 decibels instead of 98. We'd better get our fingers out".

I believe that truly great players motivate themselves. They have pride in what they do and they have pride in the shirt and the club. As people have stated many times on this forum, this seems to be lacking in spades amongst many members of the current squad. It is an indication of how things have slipped in terms of recruitment perhaps but a good coach should be able to instill some of that passion into this team (see Wakefield for further details). Unfortunately, the only way supporters can vent their frustration is to get onto the team's collective back which will have one of two effects: galvanize them to do better or crush their confidence still further. The difference between sides of the Super League past and what we have now is that we had great players who responded with the former not the latter (2005 season a great example).

The current malaise at the club is the aggregate of many issues which have combined to produce a severe downward spiral. The players cannot be held responsible for much of that but if they're not prepared to commit 100% to the cause on the field then they shouldn't be wearing our colours. And if the coach can't get the best out of them, then he has to go.

i wish it was us (salford) playing you men last night! Would of been 4 wins on the bounce! Instead weve got to contend with an on form cats side! You were absolutely shocking last night but thats what we've been like most of the season. You will turn it round, you've got too many good players for it not too!

As another person who was sat in the said stand, the reaction was exactly as Adey has described it. If you really are arrogant and conceited enough to claim he is lying from your vantage point in Scotland, then I suggest you see a specialist about your head.

The ground was deadly silent for most of the game. The booing was still in the minority but certainly the most we have heard this season. Certainly around where I was stood, the booing was coming from a largish group of teenagers who didn't look to have a brain cell between them.

I will never understand what they expect their boo's will bring about though. They booed, jeered and shouted and signalled abuse as the players went off at HT. In my opinion, this doesn't motivate players it simply heaps more pressure and causes them to try impossible plays. I couldn't applaud the players last night after the match because it wasn't an acceptable performance... but similarly I couldn't boo MY team.

I spoke to a bloke before the Leeds game, one which I was fully expecting us to lose. We were chatting about the unfair boo's of Platt as his name was announced. I thought his comments summed it up well 'Platt might be crap, but he still plays for my side so the supporters should get behind him'.
