In my case she suggested we go ... the emphasis being on the 'we'

I missed this completely, but whilst just googling it now, I also came across that there's a game at Odsal against Toronto on Friday 25th January too.
Did I just miss these or have they not been well advertised? Would probably help if they were listed in the fixtures section on the website. I don't come on here so often now, so may have missed posts on here about them, but would have thought I'd have seen it on social media or the website.

| Yorkshire cup fixture game was mentioned quite a bit at time they announced cup. Not much about Toronto game but it’s nearly two months away. All emphasis at moment is on York game on Boxing Day. Wouldn’t really be expecting them to be pushing 4th pre season game yet.

| Agree they wouldn't be "pushing" all the games just yet but can't help feeling that a mention, somewhere on the website, not buried too deeply, might be appropriate. Maybe a link to the list of pre-season games at the top? Or even better put them above the league games under 'Fixtures'.

Certainly would help to have them listed somewhere on the main page. Push at moment seems to be for season ticket deadline and york game. maybe they'll start pushing later preseason games once season ticket deadline has passed. I don't think pre season games have been included on fixtures page for a few years and it looks like that page is centrally generated for all clubs as everyone has same format and dont include pre-season games.

| Interesting that it seems, 'centrally generated'. I've never looked for fixtures on other club's sites do I would never have known. Makes we wonder if any other things, which I'd have thought were very much 'on site' stuff, are done centrally?

| It's happened in tbe football league for years. For example Bradford City and Crewe have same website. Maybe it's so they get a better deal from the hosting companies.

To be fair, at least having them run by the RFL (or whoever runs the central database that it refers to) means the guy who does the website/social media can't sod them up like he does most other things (Gareht Carvell will agree).
I do think it would be helpful to have the friendlies listed somewhere quite easily off the homepage though, even if it can't be in the fixtures page. Potentially losing out on ticket sales (or even walk ups) by not advertising them, as people may make other plans not knowing there's a game on those days.

| Glad it’s a team like Featherstone first, especially at home! Gives us an opportunity to lay down a marker against an eatablished Championship side and also see where we stack up against a good side. Bradford market this game massively on our return to the Championship!
