Yes. The point FA was trying to make in his own slightly ar$ey style (justified or not), was that there is a difference between a Winding Up Petition and a Winding Up Order. Bradford and Featherstone were subject to a Petition, not an Order.

And also the point that it was the previous holding company that was put in special measures, not the current one. So the current Bradford Bulls have never technically been in that state.

The court seems quite busy today, 201 companies to get through. As well as ourselves, scanning down the Companies Court Winding Up List, it seems its an RFL day out; we're up early doors and then we have some other RFL clubs, maybe its a job lot type of thing?

I'm going to have to stop reading the comments part on the T&A website. It just makes my blood boil!!! I mean why the f*ck would a guy risk his business, family home and sanity to "play" Billy Big Boll*cks??? Still the morons will continue to protest they were right all along.

Having seen a few companies go through this, its likely to be a dispute with HMRC over the actual amount of tax to pay. It happens more than you would think and whilst stronger/more financially sound companies can afford to pay now and challenge later, smaller ones cannot. That's what I'm hearing this is... paying the calculated amount would cause more problems than it would solve going to court.

Expect by now we have either accepted a new balance and this will be thrown out, or we still disagree and it will be adjourned until a mediation process can be completed.

Either way, I'm reasonably comfortable (notice this is a difference between 100% sure) that my £242.25 spent on membership last week is secure
