15 stgrfong homegrown contingent from that squad. Who realistically is strong enough for the championship and who will we let go or let develop longer in the junior teams?

Is Ricketts likely to stay? He hasn't played all season, what about Oakes, especially now Webster and Gibson signed? Young Hodgson was talked up, he hasn't played and seems to have been taken over by Storton.

Anybody clued up on the youngsters ?

On the off chance that we do get promoted, where do you all feel that we're lacking within the squad?

The squad is shaping up well for next year. I feel we could do with 1 or 2 older heads in the squad just to give us a bit of experience. Is there a list of players in the Championship that are out of contract anywhere?

What's the drill with Butterworth?

He is on loan at Cas until end of season. After that I don't know but I heard that they said they wanted to give us Trueman back.

I'll start a new thread for the 2019 squad as it takes shape.

May be even more different now because they've just signed a hooker to a first team contract, among three. Centre, Full Back and Hooker.

If we sign Wildie then I expect us to offload someone.

Average age of squad is still too low in my opinion.

Bit lightweight. Ryan Butterworth will hopefully come through next year too so we're alright for wingers now.

I have a memory of him playing for York in Toronto on Premier Sports last season. I seem to remember he played very well, although I've slept a few times since then so I could be confusing him with someone else.

He got a hatrick... only 6 tries this season though

Bit of a meh signing (mind you i thought that about Johnny Campbell) looks decent on the highlights (but you'd expect that for a winger) seems to have decent awareness though on his highlights providing aome good assists.

I really hope Ryan Butterworth gets a crack next year. Looks the real deal.

Yeah Butterworth is still eligible for U19s next year.

While we do need some cover on the wing I think our main areas that need strengthening are in the pack where we are too inexperienced.

I remember Fogging-Johnston very well to be honest, he was a very lively winger and very quick, reminds me a little bit of a shorter, more slightly built version of Touyo Egodo. Decent player, imo.

Im not really a fan of what I deem "project" signings. Plenty of projects in our own ranks.

I would have loved Campbell to stay. Got everything you need in a winger

Campbell would've been better, more versatile too. DFG seems to only have played on the left wing. Can't see him displacing Ethan Ryan.

After DFG signed up for us I had a look on You Tube to see if he had any highlights. There was a decent video on there put up by his agent ShowMeTheMoneyUk (Craig Harrison). He makes sure his players have decent highlight reels on You Tube and he can often been seen around the club, he’s been co-commentating with Mick recently too.

He represents the following Bulls players if the videos on you tube are anything to go by: DFG, Milnes, Storton, Wilson, Brining, Bustin, Scurr, Foster, Egodo, Hodgson, Vaznys, Garside, Hallas, Reiss Butterworth, Wood and Milton. That’s 16. The majority being younger lads.

He also seems to represent Matty Wildie.

A very influential bloke by the looks of it. We seem to be his pet club.

To be honest there are only a small number of player agents in operation as far as I'm aware so the likelyhood is that we will have to deal with this guy quite a lot anyway.
