That's true. The main stand IS very well hidden I guess, so its maybe understandable that you did not spot it and its strategic positioning right alongside the pitch...

They did mention it over the tanoy..

there were many fax fools on the terrace, about 25% of the crowd that turned up to watch the game. where were the rest of the bulls fans? is that not even more disrespectful to him?
would have helped all those on the terrace if could have heard what was being said about the game plus what he had to say after the game.
many applauded him when he came onto the pitch, obviously you could not hear for the tannoy.

Couldn't hear for the applause around me. I was going by my eyes. Looked across the terracing to only see a few scattered people applauding and some of them were Bulls fans.

Was quite amazed to be honest, as I thought club rivalries would be put aside for something like that. Shame some are too petty for that to be the case. Found it disgusting and thought fans of our sport were better than that.

Well done to any Fax fan that DID applaud for keeping up the good name.

Lets see, your at a testimonial match, a single player comes running out of the tunnel to a standing ovation from the main stand, it don't take a genius to figure out whats going on. Not hearing the tannoy is a poor excuse.

didnt empty. but was cold and not much to hang around for as could not hear what was being said, so who could blame them leaving.

The difference is they couldn't hear it. I wouldn't expect them to listen to it anyway even if they could, as he's obviously addressing the Bradford fans, so I wouldn't blame them for not staying for that. They applauded their team and then scarpered, which is what pretty much anyone would have done in that situation I think!

Indeed. No-one could IMO. They stayed to support their team till the end, which is better than a lot of SL clubs' supporters do. Credit to them.

I didn't wait around at the end of the game to hear him talk as I don't like him.

I came to the game only to see Halifax play. Couldn't care less which player was getting the money.
