Very strange post that Pumpy. So you are in a dilemma because Leigh (the biggest town in the country without a railway station) have someone with a bit of money,but not in Bradford.

I think it's just a bitter response,which i suppose is understandable under the current circumstances.

Some friends of mine have a box in the coral stand. They were asked to renew and pay straight away, this was a couple of week ago. I don't know if that is normal procedure when purchasing a hospitality box.

It was a strange feeling checking the news at lunch and reading we are in admin again. I wasn't particularly angry, sad or surprised. I read the article then carried on with my sandwich and read about something else.

I feel the same as several on here, I just don't think I've got the energy to get worked up about it for a third time in 4/5 years. I also don't know what outcome to the situation i'd be happy/excited about. No sorry, that's wrong, I do know what outcome would make me happy but it hasn't happened in 10 years and isn't going to happen this time either so no point being unrealistic.

If we somehow make it through and Marc does get his hands back on the club I don't feel like I can trust anything he says.

If we do start the season with him or new owners will we still have the team we do now and will the whole year be spent trying to catch everyone else after a 6-12 point deduction?

It's exhausting just thinking about all the same type of things we did last time and I don't think I can be bothered.

That is before even beginning to think about what to do bank wise re the 4 month season ticket plan I signed up to a couple of weeks ago and paid a couple of installments on.

Still, all the above is pretty insignificant compared to what the players and staff of the club must be thinking/going through. I'm quite surprised actually that absolutely no one from within the club has posted anything anywhere on the subject. No angry/upset tweets. Nothing.

Mick Gledhill posted that no one told the players staff before the announcement went out on the club website. If that is true it is absolutely disgraceful.

It's been obvious that they've been trying get cashflow for some time. I've had emails on an almost daily basis asking me to renew my membership.

You're right,it's totally irrelevant about the railway station, just like it being irrelevant that it's a baffling dilemma that someone in a small town like Leigh have bankrolled the club, but not in big city like Bradford.I just don't see why pumpy should compare Leigh to your failings. From the outside looking in, is there a possibility that this is some kind of strategic thinking? That they're getting wind that the case might not go their way, so they adopt a strategy that offers some protection or buffer in the event that they are hit with an immediate demand for £350,000, given that the application is to wind the business up? It messes up next season but somehow preserves the club for longer than that?

I said it earlier this year, but the mess is partly the fault of the Middle 8 system. How can a club budget for the season? If they aspire to compete with the Super League clubs, they have to spend money. Without a big backer, if they don't make the Middle 8's, they are screwed.

What the middle 8's will become is whipping fodder for the Super League clubs, all building to a one-off game at the end of it. For teams like Batley and Fev, it's just an unexpected financial boost before the whipping. Leigh are an exception because of their financial clout and what was, pretty much, a bottom half Super League team. A club like Bradford either end up settling for the Championship by budgeting for failure, or else risk going bang when they don't make the four.
